Extension of consultation for withdrawal of UFB services from OO&T and SSP

Following feedback from you we have extended the consultation period detailed in Informer 214 to 22 December 2014.

What's the detail?

We originally asked for feedback from you, on our proposal below, by 7 November 2014. Following feedback from you this timeframe has now changed to 22 December 2014.

Following the introduction of the Chorus Portal for the ordering of UFB services, we have begun consultation through the UFB Product Forum regarding the following technology changes:

  • A change, when ordering Chorus’ UFB Services, from using the current practice of using three separate systems: OSS/BSS - OO&T (Wireline), Netcracker Self Service Portal (SSP) and the new “Chorus Portal” to only using the Chorus Portal for such orders; and
     
  • The withdrawal of the ability to order Chorus’ UFB Services from Wireline and Netcracker.
