On 5 November 2013 Chorus launched the ICAT service (renamed from Inter-candidate Area Backhaul) on a trial basis. ICAT is a new optical transport network connecting New Zealand’s major urban centres. The trial will run for 6 months or until a maximum of 100 service orders requesting this service have been received. The trial offer will apply to orders submitted by you between 1 December 2013 and the end of May 2014.
