EdgeCentre Expansion

Our most recent survey led to expanding our EdgeCentre capability in the existing Mt Eden facility. We’ve heard your desire for geographic diversity in our EdgeCentre offering in Auckland and are seeking your feedback on the preferred location and volume of racks you would be interested in taking up.

Chorus has a portfolio of over 50 exchange buildings in Auckland, but we’ve narrowed it down to a select number of dispersed sites that have existing high resilience, backhaul and handover capability. This enables you to colocate at secure facilities and cut down on transport costs while colocating adjacent to our fibre network.

Consultation closes on 12 April 2024, so ensure you have a say on the next location for your datacentre hosting requirements.
