Upcoming fibre inventory platform upgrade and scheduled outage notification

As part of our ongoing system lifecycle changes, we will be decommissioning the existing back-end application of our existing fibre inventory platform, which has reached end-of-life. In its place, we’re introducing a modern, future-ready back-end application designed to support our fibre services well into the future.    

To facilitate this upgrade, the Chorus Fibre Portal will be unavailable (with the maintenance page enabled) from 9:00pm Friday 26 September through to 6:00am Monday 29 September

During this time: 

  • You will be unable to submit any order types via the Chorus Fibre Portal (including Fibre Connect APIs and B2B). 

  • Any orders already scheduled for this period will need to be rescheduled. 

  • We plan to bring ahead any new connection orders you have already booked in this outage window. 

  • The Assure API will only be unavailable between 3:00am to 6:00pm Sunday 28 September.  The usual medical escalation process will be in place during this period. 

Whilst the Chorus Fibre Portal is unavailable until 6:00am Monday 29 September, if roll back is not required, Chorus expects the Chorus Fibre Portal and APIs to be available earlier by 6:00pm Sunday 28 September

Your channel partner team will reach out directly if you have existing orders affected by this maintenance window. 

A formal change notification outlining the full scope of service impacts will be distributed through standard BAU channels.
