NGA On Application (NOA) process update
We’ve recently introduced a process for communities who are currently outside of fibre coverage to work with us to co-fund a fibre build. There is a new webpage providing information, and customers can fill in the webform to submit their request and we will get back to them directly.
Our investigations found that the vast majority of fibre extension requests from residential customers did not proceed to build as the cost is too great for a single customer to cover on their own. By introducing this community process, we aim to increase the chance of success by encouraging communities to work together and share the cost with us.
Therefore, we will stop accepting NOA requests for residential customers from 30 May 2025. We will provide an estimate for any requests already inflight and complete the build for any quotes accepted by 30 June 2025. Please update your processes to redirect residential customers who are outside of fibre coverage areas towards our new webpage/webform.
For commercial premises, customers can use the community process if they have others around them who they want to work with. Otherwise, we will continue to accept fibre extension requests for individual customers ordering a business grade BS2 or BS3 plan through the existing NOA process - the steps are outlined on NGA On Application (NOA). When you email NOA Presales, please indicate that this will be for a business plan.
