SME Marketing Campaign – Regional Focus (March - June 2021)
Our latest SME marketing campaign, ‘Right tool for the job’, has been in market for six months with the objective of helping New Zealand businesses engage with their broadband usage to better understand the benefits of business-grade fibre, and ask their provider to switch to a business-grade fibre plan.
Over the next few months, we’re focussing on marketing in low-fibre uptake areas to continue to build awareness and desire for business-grade fibre.
Regionalising our business-grade marketing
The ‘Right tool for the job’ advertising campaign continues in market on a national level, running across video on demand, digital display and audio, social and search. We’re now focussing on regional and targeted activities in the following UFB1 areas to stimulate demand where there is the greatest opportunity: Dunedin, Wellington, Napier/Hastings, Palmerston North and Auckland.
We’ll be running our ‘Right tool for the job’ creative with refreshed messaging across localised outdoor, radio and geo-targeted digital display and LinkedIn advertising.
The national and regional advertising campaign layers work collectively to highlight why business-grade fibre is the best option for SMEs and supports the Chorus business migrations programme which will see our door knocking agents speaking directly with business owners in these regions over the same period.
Leverage our activities and offers
We hope you will look to leverage our business-grade fibre campaigns by aligning your business fibre offer media. An overview of the regional campaign including a detailed media schedule can be found in the resources section. You can also visit chorus.co.nz/business
We’ve also identified business addresses that haven’t had an active Chorus broadband connection for one-month or more and identified the best possible Chorus broadband at this address. See our business off-net list.
And don’t forget, our current Small Business Boom offer encourages uptake for entry level fibre plans (Small Business Fibre and Hyperfibre Small Busines) with the restoration and service benefits of business grade Bitstream 2. Get onto Small Business Fibre or Hyperfibre for Small Business and get up to $300 per connection and we’ll cover plan change costs.
