Thank you for your feedback on our proposal to extend our Mix It Up offer through to 30 June 2021. As an industry you told us:

1. The mix it up framework works and you are happy to see it continue,
2. the 100Mbps threshold (at 85%) is set at the right level but the lowest “get to gig” threshold (at 20%) will be challenging to hit in a “post Covid” recovery environment,
3. you like the kicker concept but feel the proposed start date of 1st September wouldn’t give you enough time to prepare. 

What’s happening?

We’re pleased to confirm:

• an extension of the Mix It Up Fibre offer from 1 October 2020 to 30 June 2021 (three 3-month assessment “quarters”).
  • In response to your feedback on the gig we’ve reinstated a 3-tier eligibility threshold with 15% as the entry point (credits have changed to reflect the new threshold).
• the introduction of a bonus credit to convert addresses on our target list to fibre over a 60-day period.
  • RSPs participating in the mix it up programme can nominate a 60-consecutive-day window between 1 September and 31 December 2020 during which they will earn bonus credits for converting selected addresses to fibre.

What are the details?

To participate in this offer, including the bonus credit, you will need to sign up to our “Mix It Up” offer (if you haven’t already done so) before 30 September 2020.

As the bonus credit is part of the ‘Connect to 100M+’ incentive, you will need to reach a sales mix which exceeds the ‘Connect to 100M+’ threshold to be eligible for the bonus credits.

Details specific to the bonus credit:

• To be eligible for the bonus credits, you need to advise your account lead which 60-consecutive-day period you want the credits to apply before 1 September 2020 if you are already signed up to the Mix It Up offer (or before 30 September if you are new to this offer). If you do not let your account lead know, you will miss out on this bonus credit offer.
• Chorus will compile a Fibre Bonus Credit List (List), which will include addresses that will be eligible for the bonus credit. This List will be accessible via the service provider website on the 17th of August 2020 and then updated on the 7th business day of each month thereafter. These addresses will remain on the List for the term of the offer and we will update the List with new addresses that meet the criteria monthly during the offer period.
• Where an order is received for an address on the List that is for a Chorus Fibre plan of at least 100Mbps during your nominated 60-day window, you will receive a credit of:

• Eligible connections must meet the offer criteria detailed in the amended offer letter;
• Bonus credits will be calculated on orders received during the offer period and will be paid on Service Given up to 31 March 2021;
• We will pay credits on eligible connections once Service Given in the following month’s bill run; and
• A pro rata repayment period of up to 12 months from the date of Service Given will apply for disconnections or downgrades.

Next steps

If you have already signed up to our Mix It Up offer, then all you do need to is advise your account lead (via email) which 60-day window you’d like to earn bonus credits on before 1 September 2020.

If you haven’t already signed up but wish to participate from 1 October 2020 onwards (which includes our bonus credit), you will be required to sign up before 30 September 2020.
