We’re extending our offer to support Ministry of Education Broadband rebate
On 7 April 2020 we announced our COVID-19 MOE Support Package offer. As we work together to provide broadband to these students in need, we understand the challenges we all have experienced around connecting these addresses. To be able to continue our support in this offer we are extending the connection period to 30 June 2020.
What’s happening
We have been working with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Telecommunications Forum (TCF) to help identify households with students that don’t have access to a broadband connection In April we announced our MOE Support Package offer to support you and your agreement with MOE to connect these addresses.
The MOE Support Package offer [add link to the offer page] was made available from 1 April 2020 to 31 May 2020 (connection period) to activate broadband to qualifying households.
We know that together delivering these connections to students in a matter of weeks presented a number of challenges. To ensure we continue our support we are extending the connection period to 30 June 2020 to enable more time to connect these homes.
