Chorus Assurance channels – Chorus Hosted Assure ebXML B2B shutdown

In December 2017, we advised that we were introducing a new Assurance channel comprising our new Assurance website and API.


Formal 12 month's notice was given in April 2018 that we were decommissioning our Assure channels, OFM/SSP and Assure B2B. 

Our Assurance website migration is now completed and we are working with those of you using the Chorus hosted ebXML Assure B2B to migrate to our new Assurance API and can now confirm the new timeline for decomissioning.

 

What’s happening

We are now giving formal notice that we will be decommissioning the Chorus hosted ebXML Assure B2B on 30 June 2020.

We expect all service providers who are currently using the ebXML B2B to use the new Chorus Assurance API by this time.

 

Supporting details

The Assure platform replacement is now completed and included:

  • A re-platform of the current Assure B2B - completed
  • Creating a new Assurance website (a one stop shop for logging a fault with integrated testing and validating) - completed
  • Creating an Assurance API (fault logging with integrated testing and validating) for retail service providers - completed
  • Migrating customers to the new Assurance Channels - Assurance website migration completed
  • Migrating Assurance ebXML B2B customers to the Assurance API – in progress
  • Many thanks to the retail service provider community for embracing this project and taking on the new Assurance website and API.
