What’s happening

As you know our Chorus Connect Offer ends on 31 March 2019. We recently consulted with you on what the next offer will look like. Thank you for your feedback. It was helpful in finalising the offer.

We are delighted to announce that our new ‘Mix it up’ offer will launch on 1 April 2019 and will run until 30 June 2019.
 

New 'Mix It Up’ fibre offer

This offer focuses on high-speed plan adoption (Gig and 100Mbps). It includes two different incentives:

1. getting your fibre customers connecting to 100Mbps+ plans
    
2. getting fibre customers moving or connecting to our highest speed plan (Fibre Max). This will include a provision encouraging migration from Dunedin’s Gigatown plans. [Note: The Gigatown promotion ends on 30 June 2019 and from 1 July 2019 the pricing of the Gigatown plan will be aligned to the pricing of the national Gig plan.]

To be eligible for incentives under this offer, you will need to meet eligibility thresholds.  The level of credit contribution payable varies depending on which eligibility threshold has been met.  The eligibility thresholds and credit contributions for the offer are set out below and you will find more information in our detailed pack. 

Regardless of whether you hit the 75% 100m+ target or not there are additional credits on offer for those who reach our Gig order mix thresholds:

A new connect Consumer/SME Max order can be eligible for both incentives if both thresholds are reached.
 

Possible extensions of our new ‘Mix it up’ fibre offer up to 31 December

We are considering extending the offer set out above for the remaining quarters of the year (1 July to 31 December 2019). At this stage, there are two key differences for the extended period; (a) Gigatown migrations will not earn incentives post 30 June; and (b) the $ value of Gig credits reduce every quarter.

We may decide to ask for further feedback on these possible extensions at a later date, taking into account our learnings from the initial offer once it has been launched. Currently, we’re proposing to confirm to you by 16 May 2019 whether there will be an extension of the offer and, if so, the final terms of that extension.

Please note that this proposed possible extension offer, including the indicative financial incentives identified, remains under development and is still in the consultation phase. We can’t guarantee the details of the possible extension offer will be reflected in the terms of this offer without amendment. The final offer we choose to launch in due course may differ from this final offer.
