What we are doing

• Migrate the Wireline Production application and databases from its current infrastructure location on Spark Chorus Island to Datacom Chorus servers.  
• The upgrade includes moving the platform from Windows 2012 servers to a new Windows 2022 server.  
• Removal of Pre Order Tools  
• Removal of grandfathered Agency Product Non-Coded Access order forms:  
  • Add Non-Coded Access
  • Add Coded Access
  • Add DDI  
  • Site Lookup

When

The change is scheduled from 31 May 2025 from 8:00 A.M. through to 1 June 2025 at 4:00 P.M.  

The impacting component of the change is expected to occur from 8:30 A.M. Saturday with alerting and monitoring being suppressed and Wireline Maintenance Pages being enabled.  

Wireline is expected to be unavailable from 8:30 A.M. on Saturday morning, and service restored on the new Datacom Chorus infrastructure before 11:30 P.M. Saturday night.  

In the event of issues, all efforts will be made to resolve problems while continuing to roll forward. However, in the event a rollback is required, we can cut back to Spark Chorus Island infrastructure. Rollback would occur Sunday morning 1 June 2025 allowing time for additional issue investigation and analysis. Service would be restored Sunday.

With the move of the Wireline to Chorus, the IP address is changing. If you access Wireline by IP address instead of domain name, update the IP address.

If you whitelist the IP address for security reasons, update the IP address also.
