On 6 November 2024, we announced the retirement of all copper services by 2030 as we transition to becoming an all-fibre business.

As part of this, Chorus hereby gives notice under clause 6.3 of the WCSA General Terms that HSNS Lite copper services will be withdrawn effective 1 December 2026.

Many of the remaining connections are in areas where fibre is already available, providing an opportunity to work with your CDMs to move customers to a faster, more reliable service - at a lower cost.
