Inbound channel changes for copper provisioning
We're making some changes to simplify how you get support for your Chorus copper orders. Currently, there are three ways to reach us: phone queue, email, and Wireline.
To streamline communication, we will be shutting down our copper phone queues from 18 November 2024. If you call 0800 729 005 and select an option for our copper products, a voice recording will advise that the queue is no longer available. Please use another channel to contact us about Chorus copper orders as set out below.
We are also replacing product specific mailboxes, which can be confusing. From 18 November 2024, we are introducing CopperProvQueries@chorus.co.nz to replace all existing copper product specific mailboxes.
From 18 November 2024, please use the following channels for support:
- Wireline for in-flight orders
- Email: CopperProvQueries@chorus.co.nz for non-in-flight inquiries
- Escalation process: The process remains unchanged, but the mailbox will be renamed to CopperProvEscalations@chorus.co.nz
To support our customers during this transition, the product specific mailboxes will remain active until 31 January 2025, with emails being redirected to CopperProvQueries@chorus.co.nz
