We’re proposing two changes to support split billing for Home Fibre Starter 50 (HFS):
- A new field in the ordering system which enables providers to flag retail price cap compliance per connection, and
- An amendment to the HFS terms and conditions alongside the technology change, so that if a provider chooses to offer multiple HFS propositions each proposition would be assessed individually as to whether it meets the retail price cap.
These changes together would provide greater flexibility for providers by allowing the retail price points for HFS offers to straddle both sides of the cap. We also believe this is the fairest way to ensure the monthly charges are applied accurately, as the provider can set this for each order placed.
