We’re updating our scoping estimates to include a more detailed description of work required on HSNS Fibre Lite scoping estimates exceeding $50k.

What happens today?

Normally a scoping estimate is provided back with a generalised message (example below) to signal if a quote will exceed $50k.  

“Please note that the cost of this installation exceeds $50,000.00”

To proceed with a new connection an additional full cost quote will be required. If you wish to proceed with a detailed quote, please email Fibre Feasibilities.

What’s changing?

We’re updating this to help you provide better clarity to the customer on work required, with a detailed description and breakdown of the estimate, provided in the first instance in the feasibility process rather than upon request of the full quote.  

Example of cost estimate breakdown (excluding description of work)

Amended Cost Breakdown: Material = $6300.00; Labour = $25200.00; Quote (Excluding GST) = $31500.00; GST = $4725.00; Customer Contribution (Including GST) = $36225.00            

Please note:  

• Each job will have a unique description based on the work that’s required to be undertaken.
• This does not apply to HSNS Copper Lite due to impact of copper withdrawal, copper stop-sell and no new copper network extension work.
