We’re withdrawing two superseded offers that initially defined a “standard install” back in 2012 – it doesn’t have any implications for our current processes or practices, and you won’t need to do anything. 

At the beginning of UFB roll out we introduced a free standard install offer for residential (RIO) and business (BIO) connections. The RIO and BIO offer terms effectively defined the standard install. 

Today their terms form part of the UFB reference offer, where the details are in the Operations Manuals, so the time has come to withdraw them.

Both the RIO and BIO cancellation clauses require a minimum of six months’ notice, and this update serves as that six months’ notice of the withdrawal of RIO and BIO on 1 December 2022.
