Chorus confirms new service company agreements

What’s Changed?

There will be some changes in service partner accountability across New Zealand in all of our major streams of work connect, build and assure. Not all areas are changing and not all lines of business are being moved but this transition will be a significant piece of work.

Chorus have successfully completed similar transitions at various times in recent history and while geographically significant the actual volume of work being moved is less than in the past.

We anticipate beginning transition activity starting on the 1 March 2022 and over a short period of time we will migrate lines of business from the existing incumbent to the new provider.

 

What does that mean for me?

There will be no action required from your business. Chorus will reposition any of your customer requests to the right provider at the right time.

There will also be no change in the service level and operational level obligations we have to you and they remain as published

We do not anticipate any material impact to yourselves or your customers during this transition of work activity. Your service delivery team in the coming weeks will inform you of our WIP principles that will guide this transition and support.
