You told us you would be interested in an entry level fibre product so we’ve developed a proposal and are inviting your views on it. 

The details

We heard during consultation that a low-speed plan should cater to the more price sensitive customer segment, and we want to ensure the reduced costs of such an offer are passed through.

We’re proposing to create a new offer with the following features:

• 40-10-0.3-0.3 plan speed,
• The plan is only available to residential connections, and therefore excludes business connections and NBAPs,
• A standard monthly wholesale price of $44.22,
• Where the Retailer prices the service to the end user at or below  $63.00 (incl GST) a  monthly wholesale price of $39.00 will apply.  

These speeds are comparable to the average SamKnows reported speeds of VDSL and are designed for those customers who are not focussed on high speeds but value reliable low-latency connectivity.

We are now opening consultation on the above. The consultation will run until close of business Wednesday 24th November.

We’re keen to know what you think of this proposition, including:
