We are growing our network capacity to ensure it remains congestion free during the Rugby World Cup 2019™ and beyond. In March 2019 we asked you to share your forecasts and plans for Handover remapping with us before the 12 April 2019.

Thanks to those of you who have already provided us with your remapping forecasts.  We are currently progressing feasibility assessments for the forecasts we have received and are confirming the scheduling of dates and times for orders and remapping activities with you.
 

What’s changing

We anticipate high volumes of Handover remapping leading up to the Rugby World Cup 2019™, and want to support you with managing these volumes effectively across the industry. 

In order to facilitate this we are scheduling dates and times for this activity from May through to September.  If you are planning any remapping of services between handovers during this period please get in touch with your account team with a forecast volume of services and estimated month you intend to move to the new Handovers.

If you have not done so already, we encourage you to please get in touch with your account team no later than 10 May 2019 with your Handover remapping forecast.

This will allow us to provide you with the scheduling support required to fulfil these requests before the Rugby World Cup 2019™.
