Better Business service wrap - launch of Phase 2 improvements

Following the announcement of Phase 1 of our Better Business service wrap in September, we are now launching Phase 2 of our improvements, including faster restore times and better quoting to support your sales process.

What's happening?

To give you the confidence that your premium fibre connections are being given an enhanced focus by us, we will be launching three improvements over the next month as part of our Better Business service wrap.

This Informer provides a summary of the improvements being launched in Phase 2, with more detail available on the relevant product pages on our website.

Phase 3 will be announced in early November. 

What's the detail?

There are three Better Business service wrap improvements launching in Phase 2:

  1. 6 hour restore OLA* – to provide faster fault resolution we’re reducing the restore OLA from 8 to 6 hours. Launch: 26 November
  2. Reduction in time to quote* – to enable you to get back to your customers with pricing faster, the quoting process for Last Step Fibre Build and In-Boundary Trenching (IBT) is reduced from 5 to 2 days. Launch: 26 November
  3. Introduction of a longer quote life** – moving from 90 to 180 days for new build and install quotes, including IBT. Launch: 29 October

* To create a consistent service experience for our premium business and education products, we’ve applied these changes to our NGA Business/Education (Bitstream 3/3A) including NGA Business eDMR and NGA Business P2P, HSNS Premium/Bitstream 4, DFAS, vDFAS, BFAS and HSNS Lite Fibre products.

** For the time being this change only applies to HSNS Premium/Bitstream 4, HSNS Lite Fibre, DFAS, vDFAS and BFAS.

These changes do not apply to NGA Evolve/Education (Bitstream 2 services).

If you consume one of these products the new Better Business service wrap will automatically apply, there is no need to on-board or migrate your customers.
