1 March - New pre-consent process available for fibre installation
Owners of multiple dwelling units and right of ways can now proactively give consent for fibre to be installed on their shared properties by filling in the form on our website. Read the full Informer here.
3 March - Video content: Fire customer experience and research
You have been telling us that improving the customer experience is critical to your broadband strategy, so we’ve initiated a piece of work to better understand what a great consumer experience would look like and how we measure up against it. Read the full Informer and watch the video here.
4 March - Video content: Better Business update
You told us you want to improve customer experience for business customers, so we introduced a number of enhancements during the last half of 2015, with the purpose of delivering a better customer experience for our premium business fibre products. Read the full Informer and watch the video here.
7 March - NGA in-flight order management offer
Our customers have told us that they would appreciate periodic support when they have a backlog of orders waiting for new dates to be agreed with consumers. To help with this, with each request we’re offering management of up to 1,000 existing in-flight NGA orders that are on-hold, waiting for dates to be agreed. Read the full Informer here.
8 March - Availability rules consultation
We invited you to an audio on 17 March 2016 to discuss the change we’re proposing for copper broadband availability. The follow up Informer with the outcome of this session will be sent next week.
8 March - Changes to service descriptions for fibre technical standards
From 1 April we will be adding more detail to the fibre technical specifications in the service descriptions for fibre and other layer one components. Read the full Informer here.
11 March - Fibre marketing activity in Taupo, Rotorua and Whakatane
From 21 March we’re rolling out fibre marketing campaigns to stimulate demand in areas where we have extra Technician capacity. Read the full Informer here.
10 March - Improving the process for consents on right of ways
From 4 April 2016 we’ll begin sending letters directly to consumers who request a fibre service on a right of way driveway. The letter will include information about the process, how to help it along and what to expect from the installation. Read the full Informer here.
15 March - Moving to connection only for VDSL
Recent improvements to the performance and stability of VDSL mean that connection only is now an effective option for VDSL installations. Read the full Informer here.
15 March - Upstream Ingress Policer

21 March - NGA price changes effective 1 July 2016
From 1 July 2016, pricing for a number of Evolve, Accelerate and Education plans will change to meet the glide path commitments in our contract with Crown Fibre Holdings (CFH). Read the full Informer here.
