Technology can be confusing enough, without having different naming conventions between our business, your business and the industry. To make it easier for you, we’re standardising the naming convention of several services. We’ve already made the changes to our new service provider website and will continue to roll them out across collateral and other touch-points in the coming weeks.

We're also grouping our products using the underlying technology:

Consumer

1. Fibre to the Node: part-fibre services such as VDSL, Enhanced UBA (ADSL2+) and Baseband IP.
2. Fibre to the Home: complete-fibre services, such as Home Fibre.

Business

1. Entry level: broadband services with a focus on installation management.
2. Premium: broadband services with dedicated technicians, dispatch, SLA management and managed provisioning.

Note our contracts, price lists, technical user guides will retain their technical names.
