Changes to the Prequalification information for Pre Fibred Premises
As part of the enhancement deployed in the Chorus Portal on 2 February, we now provide detail on Pre Fibred premises previously provided via spreadsheet on the website.
What's happening?
Informer 212 dated 25 September 2014 provided information on our intention to provide UFB Reference Offer services, to full UFB specification, including NGA, over our existing network (Pre Fibred Premises). A full list of addresses was published on our website but is now available in the Chorus Portal.
What's the detail?
Changes have been made in the Chorus Portal that simplify the prequalification and ordering of services in Pre Fibred Premises. A Pre Fibred Premise can be identified in prequalification in the Portal when it returns a status of “Fibre Ready Non UFB”.
Once an order is placed we will advise you of the consent status and complete any communications with the premises owner. The Portal will show “Consent Required” and we will update this to “Ready For Provision” once all the build work has been completed.
After the first connection has been completed in the premises the prequalification will then show “Fibre Ready UFB”.
If the request is for a single dwelling unit i.e. does not require consent, the order will move straight to the ABC installation process.
Please note: if you place an order via Online Order & Tracking (OO&T) or SSP the current process still applies i.e. we will identify if the premises is pre-fibred.
The list of addresses remains on our website, here, if you wish to check it manually.
