Informer 199 issued on 9 June clarified the pricing and process for Copper Site Investigations.  We are now increasing the price to cover the costs associated with this service. 

What's the detail?

From 1 February 2015 any new requests submitted for a Copper Site Investigation will be change from $115.44 to the new price of $187.04 exclusive of GST. 

The price book and relevant information on the website will be amended to reflect this change.

A site investigation is used to identify the potential costs when providing services to a site. This involves a request for a Chorus Service Technician to inspect a defined site between the property boundaries to the demarcation ETP.

This service will determine what copper network capacity is available, performance of that copper (only possible for working or intact circuits), location of plant, any miscellaneous request for future copper service.
