Building on our VDSL advertising over the past few months, here are the areas we’ll target from October.

What's happening?

While our ultimate goal is to get people on fibre, VDSL can meet the needs of those wanting faster broadbandnow. In October, we’ll launch another round of digital ads to encourage VDSL uptake. This supports our Basic VDSL upgrade offer.

What's the detail?

Our recent move to the 998 band plan provides a 50 Mbps average download speed, and greater copper line stability to more people around New Zealand. That’s a vast improvement on some of the ADSL speeds out there.

Advertising campaigns
The next round of advertising activity outside our UFB areas, begins on Monday 3 October and runs for eight weeks. It features geo-targeted digital, mobile and social media advertising in the following areas:

• Auckland
• Canterbury
• Waikato (includes Hamilton)
• Otago
• Taranaki
• Bay of Plenty
