What's happening?

The Final Pricing Principle (FPP) delivered last year changed UBA Wiring costs to a time and materials basis. However, many of you would prefer certainty. Us too. That’s why we’re fixing installation prices up front. Better still, prices have also reduced using the new FPP labour rate.

What's the detail?

Specifically, the Connection and Wiring charge will fall from $115.00 to $82.21 (based on 1 hour of labour, materials, plus Service Company/Chorus overhead).
The charge for Wiring Only orders will fall from $150.00 to $117.21 (based on a truck roll, 1 hour of labour, materials, plus Service Company/Chorus overhead).
Best of all, if you accept these rates, the pricing will change on 1 October 2016 and be back-dated to the FPP’s effective date (16 December 2015).

Please note:

• This fixed price UBA Wiring Offer is a commercial alternative to the UBA STD time and materials based pricing. 
• We intend to ask the Commerce Commission to remove the time and materials pricing in the UBA STD and replace it with a fixed price. 
• The rates for UCLL and Baseband jackpoint installations remain unchanged.
