We’re simplifying the workflow of your fibre connection orders
Later this year, we will introduce some changes to the Chorus Portal to simplify the workflow of your orders.
We will deliver a set of simple and predictable Customer Order scenarios, where you will have clarity on what has happened and certainty on what steps to take.This will simplify and enhance the update process between your operational teams and Chorus Provisioning.
What’s changing?
- We will add three new reschedule reasons to give you more specific information and better manage your customers’ conversations.
- Workflow logic is being updated so that you won’t receive any additional interactions in the order when no action is required.
- New interaction will allow us to progress your jobs more efficiently and will enable us to communicate better with you when more information is required.
- New consent updates will give you more details on the stage of your jobs during the consent process.
- There will be some changes in the Chorus Portal. Please refer to the detailed pack available.

Next steps
As soon as the code has been built by our supplier, we will be able to provide you with the Chorus Portal schematics.
Our goal is to make the changes available in the Chorus Portal EMMA environment by 14 August 2018 for you to commence testing.
Production date for this release is targeted for October 2018.
