We’re amending the UCLL Migration Offer

On 9 May, we invited you to sign up to our new UCLL Migration Offer. Those who subscribed to the Offer have provided us with feedback on the terms. We have taken your feedback on board and we are amending the Offer with effect from 1 July 2018.

What’s changing

The UCLL Migration Offer is amended by:

  • Extending the term of the offer from 30 September 2018 to 31 December 2018.
  • Changing the credit payable to you for migrating a Qualifying Connection included in a UCLL Migration Plan as follows:

  • Allowing migrations from UCLL to VDSL for addresses included in a UCLL Migration Plan.  The eligibility criteria below needs to be satisfied for these connections to be considered as Qualifying Connections:

If there is a failed install of VDSL at an address included in a UCLL Migration Plan, we may not apply the credit contribution under the Offer (at our sole discretion).  Any criteria we use to assess whether to apply credit contributions in these circumstances will be applied in the same manner to each service provider participating in the UCLL Migration Offer.

  • Changing the repayments. We may require a repayment from you under clause 10. If we do so and the credit contribution we have paid you is $150, the applicable repayments are set out below:

[Note: Clause 10 of the Offer deals with Qualifying Connections which disconnect from our broadband network within 30 days of service given.]

 

These changes apply from 1 July 2018.

All other terms of the Offer continue to apply.  For example, although you will be entitled to this credit once a Qualifying Connection has been ordered, you will not receive the credit until that connection is service given.

Next steps

You don’t need to do anything to enjoy the benefits of these changes to the UCLL Migration Offer. Agreed migration plans still need to be finalised with us by 29 June 2018.
